Meet Naomi
I’m from Alaska, where work is demanding, conditions can be challenging, and people are more connected than most places in the world.
20 years into a career of leadership and occupational safety & health split between hospitality & construction, I experienced a suicide at work that would forever change the direction of my life. I looked back and realized that the only fatalities I had experienced at work were overdose and suicide.
I carried a deep sense of failure. I isolated and let my world get very small. I coped the only way I knew how at the time, through alcohol and self-soothing that kept me stuck in shame for far too long.
With the guidance of an incredible coach, I found my way to sobriety. Sobriety led me to a new understanding of leadership and wellbeing at work and at home.
I immersed myself in suicide prevention, mental health at work and NIOSH’s Total Worker Health®. But knowledge is only power when put into ACTION!
So I committed to working with organizations and leaders to take a systems-based approach to wellbeing, aligning strategy, culture, and human capacity to support sustainable performance and organizational resilience.
My career has spanned operational, managerial, and executive roles. This breadth gives me a unique understanding of the challenges faced, from frontline to executive-level decision-making.
I hold certifications in Professional Coaching, Construction Health and Safety, and Total Worker Health® facilitation. I bring a disciplined, evidence-informed approach that integrates organizational systems, leadership behavior, and individual capacity.
I am committed to helping organizations build healthier, higher-performing cultures while equipping leaders with the clarity, tools, and perspective needed to navigate complexity, change, and sustained growth.
